Student Staff – Technical Services Assistant

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour, plus holiday pay

To work as part of the Technical Services team to provide a professional standard of technical support and customer service for a variety of Guild events. This includes providing technical event production (sound and lighting) for Guild events including club nights, live music and large-scale events such as Guild Awards and Grad Ball.

This role offers you a range of opportunities to gain skills and experience including (not exclusively):

• Technical event production
• Customer service skills
• Problem solving
• Working as part of a team

Availability: You must be available during Welcome Week 2026 and able to work club nights.

Please note that this position is only available to students studying at the University of Birmingham who will be a registered student until at least July 2027.
