Student Staff – Student Activities Assistant

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour, plus holiday pay

This role involves working as part of the Student Activities team to provide an excellent standard of customer service, creating a friendly environment that student volunteers can turn to for support for their group’s activities. facilitating a wide range of events through societies, associations and sports clubs.

You will be required to be available to work a minimum of two shifts per week (during term-time). Usual working hours are between 9am and 6pm Monday-Friday, so the role requires reasonable daytime availability.

Please note that this position is only open to students currently studying at the University of Birmingham who will remain registered students throughout the 2027-28 academic year. Students graduating in 2027 will not be eligible to apply.
