Student Staff – IT Assistant

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, plus holiday pay

In this role you will work within the Operations Directorate in the Guild of Students. Your role will be assisting University of Birmingham IT Services staff as they oversee and manage the Guild’s IT provision for staff, officers and student groups.

This role offers you a range of opportunities to gain skills and experience including (not exclusively):

• Customer service skills

• Working with Microsoft Office

• Problem solving

Hours: IT Assistants work up to 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, predominantly during term time although out of term time hours are available.

Please note that this position is only available to students studying at the University of Birmingham who will be a registered student until at least December 2026.
