Student Staff Role – Communications and Marketing Assistant (Communications & Marketing)
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, plus holiday pay
Would you like to join our Communications and Marketing team and help us document what life at the University is really like? We have the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re looking for a team of student Communications and Marketing Assistants to create content, showcase our various events and activities, and provide administrative assistance.
This role offers you a range of opportunities to gain skills and experience including (not exclusively):
- Researching, featuring in and creating content for social media channels
- Planning, creating and editing video and written content for various platforms
- Providing administrative support to the Communications & Marketing Team
- Promoting and supporting at various events
Please note that this position is only available to students studying at the University of Birmingham. This role will be predominantly office-based, with ad-hoc filming and content creation opportunities which will be out on location, around the University / on campus.
There are no set hours as we’ll ask you to document events based on our annual calendar.
